O Livro de Samuel (na Bíblia católica dividido em 1 Samuel e 2 Samuel) pertence aos Livros Históricos do Antigo Testamento. Ele narra a transição de Israel:➡️ de um povo guiado por juízes

O rei segundo o coração de Deus. Tema central: O livro mostra algo muito importante: Deus é o verdadeiro rei. Mas o povo pede um rei humano. E isso traz bênçãos… mas também problemas? Ideias principais:

1 Samuel:

20 – Davi abandona o refugio dos profetas e vai ter com Jonatas o qual jura lealdade, e diz que no outro dia iria ter banquete com o Rei mais esse diz para ir embora esconder no campo, e diz para Davi que iria averiguar se tudo estive bem ele avisaria por sinal junto a pedra de Ezel, flecha atrás tudo bem flecha na frente Javé esta mandando você ir embora. 1 Samuel

And the Ammonites of Nahash surrounded the city Jabesh Gilead and says that he would remove the right eye of all inhabitants, the people ask 7 days to seek help and send messengers Saul the Spirit of God comes upon him fills with courage and calls Israel to war, the people united attack the Ammonites by surprise at dawn and wins the people recognize Saul as king and offer sacrifices and celebrate in Gilgal.

And Samuel gives witness that he chose for the people the new king Saul. And Samuel says that it was a mistake that the people asked for a king and sends thunder and rain on the same day the people begin to fear Samuel who says for them not to turn away from the Lord and to love him with all the heart.

Samuel goes to Bethlehem after the king to anoint as the Lord said and arriving there to the sons of Jesse missing David who was ruddy blond fair eyes and good appearance and the Lord says that was this one and Samuel anointed him and the Spirit of God came upon David, and in the court the Spirit of the Lord departs from Saul leaving him agitated and David is called to play harp to calm him and feel better.

Saul continues persecuting David the Ziphites inform Saul where David is in the desert the infiltration David decides to act with courage goes at night to the enemy camp with Abishai they find Saul sleeping deeply his spear is next to the head Abishai says let me kill him with one blow David refuses do not he is the anointed of the Lord David does not want to raise hand against the chosen king of God instead takes the spear and the jar of water David moves away and calls from the other side shows the spear as proof he demonstrates that he could have killed Saul but did not Saul recognizes his error says I sinned return my son David each one follows his way.

David decides to live with the Philistines with Achish in Gath Saul stops persecuting him Achish gives Ziklag to David he fights peoples around and does not leave any survivor.
